Earlsfield
A friendly community spirit, great shopping, tranquil streets and inviting green spaces. And all within a 15 minute commute to Waterloo. It's no wonder residents love living in Earlsfield.
Once overshadowed by its bigger neighbours Wimbledon, Balham and Battersea, Earlsfield is fast catching up as one the best residential locations in south west London. Situated in the London Borough of Wandsworth, the area is characterised by streets of attractive, terraced 19th and 20th century houses with a traditional shopping street at its heart.
Earlsfield enjoys a mix of traditional independent retailers and big brand high street stores, so whether you’re doing the weekly food shop or buying a new outfit, there’s no need to venture further afield. Families and fitness fanatics will find plenty of outdoor space for play and exercise.

Shopping and Leisure
There is a traditional high street area of shops, restaurants and bars around Garrett Lane, Allfarthing Lane and Burntwood Lane. Southside Shopping Centre offers even more opportunities for retail therapy: this quality shopping and leisure destination includes popular stores such as Debenhams, Gap, Mothercare, Foot Locker, Office and Next, not to mention a Virgin health club with a pool.
If you love eating out, why not enjoy an indulgent weekend brunch accompanied by a Bloody Mary at Ben’s Canteen? Thai food lovers gravitate to Amaranth Thai Café and Noodle Bar, just a step away from the railway station, while Roxie’s serves delicious, affordable steak. Earlsfield also has some great pubs such as The Halfway House (famous for its Sunday roast), The Leather Bottle and The Wandle.
Theatre lovers will be pleased to know that Earlsfield has its very own theatre in Tara Arts. The venue, which has established a reputation for powerful, cross-cultural productions, is currently undergoing a re-fit to convert it to a 100 seater space.
Earlsfield is also ideal if you enjoy outdoor activities. King George’s Park offers 55 acres of green space plus a thriving tennis club, while the 12-mile Wandle Trail is a popular route for weekend walkers and cyclists.
